Can you really look out onto the ocean from the unit?

Absolutely! Each unit has a private balcony on the ocean side of the building directly on the boardwalk.

 

Do you have a pool?

Yes…We have an outdoor pool which is ideal for all ages. During the summer season, the pool is open daily from 10am – 6pm with a lifeguard on duty.

 

Do you provide off-street parking?

One off-street parking space is provided for each unit. 

 

Do you supply linens?

No…only pillows, blankets, bed spreads & mattress pads. However, you may arrange for a linen service thru your rental agent.

 

Are the units air conditioned?

Each unit has its own thermostat.

 

Is the kitchen fully equipped?

Yes…Each unit has a refrigerator, range, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender, dishware & flatware.

 

Are there laundry facilities within the unit?

No…Coin-operated Washers & Dryers and detergent dispensers are located in the basement and available for your use.

 

What units are best suited for wheelchair accessibility?

One & two bedroom units each have interior steps.  Studios/Efficiencies have limited accessibility; getting to the bathroom with a wheelchair could prove challenging.

 

Do you provide beach equipment?

No…but you may rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach directly in front of the Edgewater House.  Lounge chairs and a few umbrellas and tables are provided at the pool.

 

Is there space provided for storing beach equipment?

No…unfortunately we do not have space available for storage of beach gear.

 

Do you provide an area to store bicycles? 

We do indeed. Bicycles may be stored in our secured room during night hours.

 

Is cable TV available?

Yes…each unit has cable TV but channel selections may vary as each owner decides on their level of service.

 

Do you provide VCRs?

VCRs and DVDs and Wireless Internet Service are available in many units and that is at the owner’s discretion.

 

What is your payment schedule?

  • Due within 10 days of booking reservation: 50% of the rental fee plus the $85 processing fee
  • Due no later than 30 days prior prior to arrival: 50% of the rental fee plus the 3% city rental tax. Additionally, depending on the unit rented, you must also remit either a non-refundable $50 Accidental Damage Waiver OR a refundable $300 security deposit. Your reservation confirmation specifies which of the two is due.

When are weekly rentals available?

Weekly rentals may be available spring through fall.  The rental week runs Saturday to Saturday, seven (7) nights.  Check-in is from 2pm to 5pm and Check-out is no later than 10am.

 

Is there an elevator available?

Yes…And tenants can go from the street-side entrance to their rental unit without encountering any stairs.

 

When will my unit be cleaned?

Units are cleaned between the check-out & check-in period. Tenants are expected to check-out having their rental unit left in an orderly fashion.

 

Will I have a good time at the beach?

Absolutely!  Especially if you stay at the Edgewater House!
